Design Internship
Chief Rebel is a studio based in Stockholm, Sweden. Their flagship title Fellowship is the first MODA game of its kind. I interned at Chief in early 2024 as a Narrative Designer. See below for more information on how I contributed.
Language Style Guide
I have written documents outlining how to convey information in the world of Fellowship, ensuring that there are resources to follow so that developers can more easily use the proper ‘voice’ when describing things, e.g. spells, tutorials, pop-ups, tooltips, etc.
Itemization & Characterization
Part of my responsibility was to name armor and items in correspondence with both the character they belonged to and the dungeons they came from. I created a word matrix and database for naming items based on: armor type, armor slot and armor attributes.
Publisher Reports
Chief Rebel has a milestone schedule which outlines deliveries pertaining to Fellowship. I helped condense and summarize the information required for these reports, so that it became clear what each delivery contained. I worked closely with directors & CEO on these.
Voice Lines
I wrote voice-over lines for bosses (done to add character and interest to the bosses but also to help telegraph boss abilities to players).
World Building
I helped name heroes, wrote lore descriptions for dungeons/adventures. I helped create narrative fantasies for dungeons/adventures.
Onboarding
I helped write tutorial text for the alpha test, helping new players to familiarize themselves with the game and its many mechanics.
Fellowship
